I have no argument with your succinct rendering of early Judeo-Christian history; however, I am left wondering how you will relate it to the current topic. Please feel free to do so.

I made the mistake some time ago of not deleting an unrelated comment, which was obviously meant to spark debate on the commentators chosen topic. I erred on the side of allowing the comment while at the same time encouraging the commentator to somehow relate his comment to the topic at hand, namely the song and video reproduced in the original comment. Not only did that not happen, but it encouraged another commentator to add his/her own "two cents" to the inappropriate discussion. Despite the fact that I had wished to be as unobtrusive as possible in my moderation of this weblog, I, needless to say, will not be making the same mistake again. The two offending comments have been deleted, and I shall henceforth be taking a much more active roll in the moderation of comments left for and by readers (however few of you there may be [and I'm grateful for all of you]).
